Enrolling In Carebears Family Daycare
Availability
- Monday to Friday 7AM-6PM
- Weekends and Public Holidays are negotiable
- A minimum of 2 weeks notice will be given when I intend to take holidays
Trial Period
All new children to be placed in care will initially be accepted on a short- term contract. At the completion of the trial period, a discussion will be held between myself and parents to ensure all parties are happy that this is a suitable care environment for the child.
How To Organise Child Care
If you are happy to continue to have your child placed in care; there are two important steps to take.
1. Register your family with Family Day Care Business and Customer Support Centre. They can be contacted on 83436533. Care of your child cannot commence until you are registered.
2. Ensure Centrelink has been contacted so the Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate can be arranged.
Termination Of Care
Four weeks of notice is required for the bond to be refunded in full.
Contracts Explained
Fixed Hours Contract - This is used when hours of care are regular and predictable and a regular pattern of care will operate. This contract ensures your child will have a place in care for as long as the contracted period.
Short term Contract - This is used when hours of care may vary from fortnight to fortnight. This is suitable if you are unsure about your future care needs. This contract ensures your child will have a place in care for up to two weeks at a time and a new contract is to be entered each fortnight; with continuous negotiation.
