At our CareBears, children have access to thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces that encourage exploration and play. Both the front and backyard offer a variety of activities, including riders, sand and water play, sensory experiences, loose parts, and climbing and balancing equipment. These opportunities promote gross motor skills, coordination, problem-solving, creativity, confidence, and resilience through active play. Our outdoor environment is rich with fruit trees, natural grass, and an abundance of plants, providing an immersive setting for nature-based learning. Children can observe seasonal changes, care for living things, and engage their senses with a variety of trees and plants such as maples, almonds, kumquats, magnolias, pear blossoms, myrtles, and dracenas. This type of play sparks curiosity, nurtures a connection with nature, and lays the foundation for early science and environmental awareness.
