Who We Are
My name is Meenakshi Mahajan, and I am the owner and educator at Carebears Family Day Care. Children lovingly call me “Aish.”
I am a qualified Early Childhood Educator with a strong teaching background across both early childhood and school settings. I previously worked as a high school Fine Arts teacher, which allows me to bring creativity, structure, and a deep understanding of children’s learning journeys into my practice.
I am a professional artist and have held numerous art exhibitions in India and Australia.With a strong background in fine arts, I naturally incorporate art, creativity, and imaginative play into everyday learning experiences, supporting children’s confidence, self-expression, and love for learning..
I hold formal qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care.I am also qualified to provide respite care for children with additional needs and have a strong interest in inclusive care practices I have experience working in centre-based early learning environments. This supports my professional and well-rounded approach to family day care.
At Carebears Family Day Care, my focus is on providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging home-based learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
As both an educator and a parent, I understand the importance of trust, communication, and high-quality care. I am committed to working closely with families to provide a warm, reliable, and enriching early learning experience for every child.
